Our experience and expertise have enabled us to develop a timber cladding and rainscreen range which offers solutions for a range of environments and applications.
Timber cladding is available from stock in three standard profiles in Western Red Cedar. Other suitable species available to order include Larch, Thermowood, FSC Louro, Iroko and European Oak. Western Red Cedar and Larch can be left natural to weather over time or can be pre-treated to retain a specified finish, we are also able to provide a fire retardant treatment if required. Other profiles that suit traditional cladding or rainscreen design can be manufactured to order using your design or we can assist with the section design and detail.
Western Red Cedar shingles provide a practical and more insulative alternative to timber roofing or cladding. Available ex-stock, in 2.3m² bundles, shingles give a rough, rustic finish and, when left untreated, are 1/10th the weight of traditional roofing materials.
If your project requires detail on sourcing certification, we will happily supply chain of custody certificates for our timber cladding. Government legislation demands environmentally certified products and increasingly, commercial customers do too. Timbmet’s Western Red Cedar is fully PEFC certified.
In addition to timber cladding we can also offer Bruynzeel guaranteed plywood products which are ideal for exterior cladding applications. The ultra-resilient range which comes with 10 and 20 year guarantees for weather and water-resistance, is perfect for fascias, soffit cladding, ceilings, door panels and marine and construction projects.
We have the experience, expertise and capability to deal with large, bespoke orders through our own manufacturing services enabling us to deal with contractors and large manufacturing orders. |
