Sincol is a range of commodity timber doorblanks FD30 and FD60 fire rated which are suitable for interior or exterior use. FD30 Sincol doorblanks are FSC (70%) as standard.
They can be cut down in size and are suitable to have a glazed aperture of up to 0.8m² inserted. FD30 Sincol products have a solid softwood core faced with 3mm plywood plus 0.7mm Cedrinho face veneer. FD60 Sincol doorblanks have a hardwood core faced with 5mm plywood plus 0.7mm Cedrinho veneer. Doors are pre-lipped on all 4 edges, doorblanks are supplied unlipped.
- FD60 54mm blanks can achieve a sound reduction of between 35db-36db with the use of appropriate acoustic seals.
- FD60 54mm blanks are permitted to have glazed areas of up to 0.4m².
- FD30 45mm blanks are permitted to have glazed areas of up to 0.8m².
- FD30 45mm blanks have been tested for thermal insulation and achieved a 'U' value of 2.0.
- FD30 45mm blanks can achieve a sound reduction of between 32db – 34db with the use of appropriate acoustic seals.
